The Witness / What the Famous Case Got WrongThe best-known account of bystander failure was substantially false. The corrected finding is narrower, better evidenced, and more useful — and the correction is itself the lesson.
The Drift / Normalization of DevianceStandards are not usually abandoned. They are revised downward in increments, each justified by the fact that the previous departure produced no disaster, until the standard describes what is already being done.
The Purifier / When the Remedy InvertsMovements formed to end an injustice are not exempt from the pattern. The certainty that authorised the correction can authorise the next exclusion, and the moral standing earned by the first act suppresses objection to the second.

Each defends the opposite of the framework. The strong claims are falsified on screen; what survives is mainstream mathematics; the metaphysics is left unclaimed.
