EXPERIMENT PROTOCOL / PUBLIC METHOD

An experiment is entered into the Archive before it is run, or it is not entered as an experiment at all.

Each entry states in advance: the claim under test, the measurement to be taken, and the result that would count as failure.

A procedure that cannot fail is not an experiment. It is recorded as a demonstration and labelled as one.

Results are published whichever way they fall. A negative result is a finding, and is filed as a finding.

No experiment in this Archive tests whether O exists. That question is not posed here, because no measurement discriminates it.

What can be tested are specific consequences that particular readings of O/0 would produce. Those are tested one at a time, and a failure removes the reading, not the experience.

Where a test succeeds, the record advances from HYPOTHESIS to VALIDATION ATTEMPT. It does not advance to proof.

The experience remains testimony throughout. No accumulation of successful tests converts it into something else.
