PUBLIC REDACTION STANDARD
Remove credentials, tokens, account identifiers, contact details, personal names in sensitive operational contexts, personal locations, private correspondence, internal paths, and actionable security details before publication.
Removed text is not shipped in HTML, JavaScript, JSON, comments, downloadable editions, or source maps. Black bars indicate omission but do not cover recoverable text.
Source and public-edition SHA-256 values are retained separately. Any redaction change produces a new public-edition checksum and changelog entry.
Segment redaction preserves document structure; targeted redaction removes a specific word, value, or sentence. The visible label names the category, never the removed value.
Automated rules are followed by a review queue. Unresolved material remains withheld.
